Quickbooks online would like to be able to run a sales tax revenue summary report any ideas?

Hello, @DavidT56.

Are you looking for a report that will show you the Sales Tax recorded in your QuickBooks Online account? No worries, I've got you covered!

Here's how you can run a Sales Tax Liability Report:

  1. Go to the Reports tab in the left-hand menu.
  2. In the Find report by name, type in Sales Tax Liability.
  3. You can customize this report to fit your needs by pressing on the Customize button at the top-right of the report.
  4. If needed, you can share this report by clicking on the icons on the top of the report.

That's all there's to it! Let me know if this works for you. I'll be here if you need anything else.

Quickbooks online would like to be able to run a sales tax revenue summary report any ideas?

Hello Ashley

Thank you for your reply. I know how to run the sales tax Liability Report. We used to be able to run a "Sales T Revenue Summary" report but that is no longer one of the options. That report breaks down Non- Taxable sales and Labor.  I was using the "Sales Tax Center" to get that information, But now with the new Sales Tax format I haven't been able to find a path to the "Sales Tax Center"

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for touching base with us again, @DavidT56.

You can customize the Taxable Sales Summary Report to show non-taxable customers and products/services. Check it out:

  1. Go to Reports on the left menu.
  2. Search for Taxable Sales Summary.
  3. Within the report, hit the Customize button.
  4. Click on the arrow next to Filter to expand it, then tick Customer Taxable or Product/Service.
  5. From the drop-down next to each, choose Non-Taxable.
  6. Hit Run report.

That's it! For more information on making the most out of customized reports, I recommend checking out: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online
