Upon attempting to add a transaction that is missing date information the following error appears:

Error
We couldn't Add the transaction(s) due to "You must specify a date.". Check account mapping in advanced settings and try again.

Did you ever get a response?  I have a transaction without a date as well, and no way to import it.

Hello there, Jasper.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to ensure that your data from the Amazon Business app imports or correctly maps the date information into QuickBooks Online.

To start with, a full cache may cause Amazon Business transactions to import to QuickBooks Online without a date. I recommend logging into QBO using a private/incognito browser to verify the connection and rule out any webpage issues, as incognito mode doesn't store local files or cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works in incognito, you'll need to clear the cache of your regular browser. It deletes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. If the steps above don't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.

If the problem persists, I suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the app. This is done to establish a fresh connection and keep your data coming into QuickBooks with the complete details.
