I have QBO Essential subscription . How many users can I add. Currently I have a company admin and a prime admin accounts. Can I add one more ?

Certainly, @suren1223, you have the option to add a user to your QuickBooks Essential. I will provide more detailed information on this below.
 
This subscription permits three billable users and includes two non-billable accountant firm users, with unlimited time-tracking-only users. However, reports-only users are not included. This plan supports up to 250 charts of accounts, although it currently does not include features for combined classes and locations.

 

Additionally, there is a limit of 40 tag groups, with a maximum of 300 tags allowed. For QuickBooks Commerce Accounting, up to three sales channels can be connected.

 

To add user, here’s how:

 

  1. Navigate to Settings and choose Manage users.
  2. Click on Add user, then input the user's name and email address.
    Note that the user's name can only include periods as special characters. For the email field, periods and the @ character is not allowed.
  3. From the Roles dropdown, select the desired role to assign to the user.
  4. Check the permissions associated with this role. You have the option to expand each section for more details.
    If relevant for the selected role, specify the Account management settings you wish to control.
  5. Click Send invitation to proceed.

Users

With a QuickBooks Online Essentials subscription, you can have up to 3 users plus an accountant.

 

Since you already have a company admin and a primary admin, you should be able to add one more standard user to reach the limit.

 

To add a new user:
1. Go to Settings -> Manage Users.
2. Click Add User and select the user type.
3. Enter their email and set their permissions.
4. Send the invite.

 

If you need more users, you’d have to upgrade to QBO Plus (5 users) or QBO Advanced (25 users).
