W-9 info not submitting

My employer recently made an account for me, but whenever I log in it prompts for my W-9 info. I use my SSN and fill out all the required fields, but the next button simply doesn't function when I click on it. How am I supposed to get this information submitted? Thanks.

You reached the right support to help you with your W-9 concern, @DandyChux,

 

Unexpected issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed can be brought about by problems in the web pages. Have you tried accessing the W-9 setup in a private window? This page prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser issues.

 

Use any of these keyboard shortcuts depending on which browser you're using:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N  
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

 

If it works, clear your cache. This removes the history or log files so you can start with a clean slate on the regular browser.

 

However, if you already tried this and still getting the same behavior when clicking on Next button, I highly recommend contacting our Support Team. You can report the problem to our representatives so they create an investigation under your account. Our engineers can run some diagnostics to fix the problem as soon as possible.
