When I print a report the font size is extremely small...how do I get it larger?

Changing the report's font size is my specialty, anrpestcontrol. I'll gladly show you the way.

When printing a report in QuickBooks Online, I'd suggest clicking the Fit to page button. This way, you'll have better visibility of its fonts.

Here's how:

  1. Open the QuickBooks Online report you need.
  2. Click the Print icon.
  3. In the Print, email, or save as PDF window, click the Fit to page button.

If the fonts are still small, I'd recommend exporting the report to Excel. From there, you'll be able to increase the size before printing.

  1. Locate and open the report.
  2. Click the Export icon.
  3. Select Export to Excel.

  4. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it.
  5. Open the report to Excel, then customize the fonts.

Additionally, I've also added these articles that'll help you manage your reports in QuickBooks Online.

Is there a way to put the columns in the reconciliation report closer together? I get print that is too small so that it can fit on the page but there are only 2 columns on the page - with a long dotted line between them.

It's great to see you chiming in on this thread, kayladjr. I've come to share insights about customizing the columns on reconciliation reports.

I understand the convenience of having the ability to modify the column sizes of your reconciliation reports. Currently, the option to customize them isn't available in QuickBooks Online. However, we can export this report in an Excel file and manually export the data as alternatives.

You'll want to consider following the steps below when exporting them manually. Here's how:

  1. Highlight the information on the report.
  2. Right-click and copy the information.
  3. Open Excel and right-click and paste the information.
  4. Adjust the column widths for the format of the Excel report to show all the information.
  5. Select Save.

I'm adding this reference for more detailed information: How do I view, print, or export a reconciliation report?.

Additionally, as we value your suggestion, I'd recommend sending your feedback to our product developers. They might consider this option and include them in future product enhancements. To do that:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion and click Next.
  3. Once done, click Send feedback.

Moreover, you can check out this reference which contains helpful resources to guide you with your future QBO tasks: Self-Help article for QuickBooks Online.
