Hi, @bookkeeper-stben. I can share information about running a Balance Sheet by class report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When you run a report in QBO, it uses information from the report's headers or details to show data for a specific section. The Balance Sheet uses header data, and classes are only linked to the transactions' details. With this, running a balance sheet by class isn't possible since headers aren't linked to classes. You can, however, your data would be inaccurate.

Alternatively, you can use location tracking to classify your entries by location since it's linked to both. For more information about this, check out this article: Run a balance sheet by class or location in QuickBooks Online.

If there's information you want to add to your report that is not available within QuickBooks, you can also export it to Excel. From there, you can personalize your data further manually.

Drop a comment below if you have follow-ups about running a Balance Sheet by class or other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be around to further assist.
