Buy nowI need to brute force this problem. Since the standard answers are not working.
I have 6 accounts at my credit union. 5 of them transferred to Quickbooks.
What are the possible reasons #6 did not connect with Quickbooks?
While I have no proof, I think It might have to do with the name, maybe the name is a duplicate of another account I already have, or I changed the name at the bank and Quickbooks can't figure out the accounts are the same. Or it might be something completely different.
I need to start chopping down reasons why it does not work until I get to the real reason. I spent 2 hours with QB tech support connecting and reconnecting my bank accounts. That was not successful. I just need things to try until I find the right solution.
Thank you for being a part of the Community, @James319. I value the information you provided to help me pinpoint the reason why QuickBooks Online can't connect to your sixth bank. Please allow me to help explain the reasons why it cannot be connected.
Can you first confirm the name of the bank with which QuickBooks Online (QBO) cannot connect? Any more information will get us one step closer to a solution and allow us to see if the issue is still under investigation.
There are lots of possibilities why your bank account won't connect. The following scenarios explain why you can't link your bank account:
You can contact your bank and inquire about any maintenance updates or requests to connect to QuickBooks. If everything is good from your bank's side, make sure to select the correct bank name when connecting the account.
Here's how:
You can also import your transactions into QuickBooks Online using our WebConnect file. See the detailed steps in this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Once bank transactions download, you can start categorizing or matching them to straighten out your books. After that, you have the option to do your regular bank reconciliation.

I have followed the steps below
It shows the 5 accounts, but not the 6th one. I get a yellow exclamation icon that says "There are no new accounts to connect" View your already connected accounts below. Then is shows 5 of the 6 accounts.
What are possible reasons the 5 will show up, but the 6th one will not?
My reply did not post (even though I got a badge for it).
I tried those things.
this is what I get
View your already-connected accounts below.
Then it shows the 5 connected accounts.
My investigation number is 89821
The Bank is Member's 1st FCU in PA.
Thanks.

It's been about 3 business days. No emails or updates on this issue. I am thinking of getting a refund or at the very least starting all over with the setup process to see if I can avoid the error that is plaguing me. I don't understand how 5 accounts come over, but the 6th one does not. Maybe there was a problem in the setup that I caused? The setup process was a lot for a first-timer - do this, get this offer, activate this, so maybe I missed something? Not 100% sure. Anyways, I was hoping to start using the program this week as I move funds to the accounts.
Any comments on new reasons why an account would not connect would be helpful so I can troubleshoot a fix.
It is near the end my the working week. My accounts are still not connected. Should we just start over?
Hello there, @James319.
As per checking here, the investigation about the Members 1st FCU bank not being able to connect with QuickBooks Online (INV-89821) has already been closed. With that being said, yes, I'd recommend connecting it once again.
If the error is still present, it implies that QuickBooks is unable to connect to the website of your bank or credit card because it cannot locate the account you created. This could be because:
Additionally, here's how to fix the error so you can keep downloading transactions into QuickBooks Online:
You may refer to this article for more information about the process: Fix banking error 324 in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Moreover, after you connect your bank and credit card accounts QuickBooks automatically downloads the latest transactions. To help you review these transactions and put them in the correct account, feel free to read through this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
