Hi @BookkeeperRes,
I'll share some information about printing transaction audit history. This report will served as a record of all the changes made on a transaction. You normally find the following information below.
If you're looking to see the Debit and Credit column, you'll want to check the Transaction Journal. Let me walk you through how.
You can also pull up the Journal Report by going to Reports and the type Journal Report. Learn more about this feature in this article: Print a journal entry report.
I've also added this this link in case you need help with other reports-related tasks. It has topics with articles to guide you along. Just choose a topic that'll fit your concern: Reports.
I'll be right here if you need help with anything else, or if you have questions with printing repots. Just drop them below and I'll be happy to answer them for you. Take care.
Hi SheilaGraceA -
I am trying to restore a format setting that must have changed somehow.
After I have entered an expense and saved it, I use the <MORE> link at the bottom of the screen and open an audit history for that specific transaction. I then click the print icon at the top of the screen and I used to get a printable report that was nicely formatted with a clean layout.
But last week the format changed to just a bunch of lines and the information is there but it's jsut a mess!
I have attached a copy of the prior reports so you can see the difference. I can't seem to attach 2 files so I will send one more reply with the new format.

Thanks for getting back to us and including screenshots in your posts, BookkeeperRes.
I've replicated this on my end, and the outcome is similar to your previous format.
This could be a browser-related issue. A full cache can caused the format to change suddenly and other odd behavior in the program. Let's fix it by using an incognito window. This prevents your browser from storing additional cache files.
If it works, you can clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance: Delete browser cache and Intuit-specific cookies to quickly fix issues. Another way is to use compatible browsers with QuickBooks Online.
Also, ensure to have an updated Adobe Reader/Acrobat. Printing problems in QuickBooks Online can be resolved by updating Adobe Reader/Acrobat: How to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.
If the issue persists, I recommend checking your print settings. We proceed in this article to get additional solutions about the printing issues in QuickBooks Online (QBO): Fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.
In your free time, you can visit and read these articles to get additional tips and information about handling expenses/vendors and record all the changes made on a specific transaction.
As always, I'm only a post away if you have any other questions about printing forms and anything related to QuickBooks Online. Take care!
