Wrongly Charged

Hi guys, I got wrongly billed on my QBO online accountant for one of my clients. The client no longer uses that QBO company as well. As I have shifted his QBO company from US version to UK version. None the less I still got charged for my clients QBO company. Is there anyway I can claim my money back?.

Looks like your old QuickBooks Online US account is still active. You'll want to make sure this is canceled to prevent the automatic renewal.

 

Let me walk you through the steps on how to cancel your subscription:

 

  1. Login to your QBO account that you no longer use.
  2. Got the Gear icon and choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Billing and subscription tab.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  5. Select Continue to cancel, then select the Continue to cancel button (if it shows on your screen).
  6. Follow the next steps.
  7. Select Submit and cancel subscription.
  8. Click Got it.

In terms of the refund, you'll want to reach out to our QuickBooks Team. They can verify if your account is eligible for a refund and if so, they will help you with the whole process.

@shahzaib   You have to contact Intuit/ QB directly.  

Good Luck.  

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
      • Start a chat with a support expert.
      • Get a callback from the next available expert.
      • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.

Support Hours

Plus, Essentials, Simple Start M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturday 6 AM to 3 PM PT
Advanced, any time, any day.

Yeah, I canceled the subscription now. However I do remember canceling it earlier. Anyways It might be a mistake on my part. Can you still let me know how to claim a refund
