Anyone having 324 error problems with Northwest bank?

Thanks for checking the Community to find solutions to resolve the 324 error, @Bzeigler2003.

I was unable to see any reports about Northwest bank as I reviewed my resources here. Rest assured, I'll be sharing some insights about this error and how to fix it.

The error code will appear when there are some updates in your online banking. These are the activities below that may affect QuickBooks:

  • Your bank or credit card company changed the account or moved it to a new server.
  • You changed the account name or other info on your bank or credit card company's website.
  • Your bank or credit card company issued a new account or credit card.

Here's how to fix this error to keep your transactions downloaded in QuickBooks Online:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  3. Select Update.
  4. If you still see the error, look for a banner on the Banking/Transactions menu. Select Check connections link and follow the steps to fix the issue.

The following article offers additional info on fixing banking error 324.

YES. Been having issues since the end of February. Have tried all of the support "fixes". I was removing and re-connecting the account daily, and now even if I reconnect the transactions are not imported at all.

Same error: 324

I have multiple companies, all with Northwest bank accounts and I am unable to maintain a connection to any of them.

@DanielleAII @Bzeigler2003

Consider to utilize MT Online for the time being. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.

We shouldn't need to pay for another subscription, the Quickbooks subscription is supposed to handle this connection for us.
