There's an ongoing issue with M&T bank where our customers are encountering error 102. Rest assured, our engineers are working together on the permanent fix. In this case, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll add you to the list of affected users and you'll receive an email notification once we resolve the issue.
You can reach our Customer Support for QBO by going to the Help icon at the top right of the account. Then, let them add you to Investigation No. 76370. Here's how:

While we're still working on a fix, just manually add your bank transactions through the WebConnect process. Here's an article you can refer to for more details about manually uploading transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Once bank transactions are downloads, you can now start categorizing or matching them to straighten out your books. After that, you have the option to do your regular bank reconciliation. Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insight about managing your bank feeds and reconciling accounts.

The error 102 with M&T bank is still tagged as an ongoing issue. We are unable to provide a specific time frame as to when this will be fixed and an exact workaround to be performed.
For now, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team to ensure you're able to receive an update through email once this has been resolved. Please follow the steps above on how to reach them.

Hello - Has this issue not been resolved? I Signed up for Quickbooks Online for the sole purpose of being able to connect my M&T Bank account directly to Quickbooks and it's saying M&T Bank is Unavailable.

Allow me to share some information and assist you in resolving the banking error in QuickBooks Online.
I've checked and confirmed that the M&T banking error was resolved. We can do a manual update right now to restore and refresh your bank's connection to QuickBooks. I'll show you how:
If the error persists, wait 24 hours before trying to update it again. Also, check your bank's website for any notifications or to see if everything is working properly on their end.
If you are still seeing the same error after 48 hours, I recommend contacting our Support Team so they can look into it and open a new ticket for investigation if necessary.

Looks like this issues continues to persist. I called MTB to get their help in the matter and they informed me that it would require me to pay a $9.95 monthly service to access the account information and have it automatically populate into QuickBooks.
