Are you able to import transactions and chart of accounts from wave app into self-employed quick books?

I started with the free version of wave apps and now want to move over to self employed quick books. Am I able to import them?

I'm glad to know that you'll be using QuickBooks Self-Employed now, nanadz!

After checking, we have no direct way to import data from Wave. However, if you can export your transactions to a CSV or Excel file, you'll be able to import them into QBSE. We also use this method to import transactions from bank and credit card accounts.

  1. Go to the Profile ⚙ icon and select Imports.
  2. Select Import transactions at the bottom. Not the one for a bank account.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Select Import.

To help you get started, you can check out the articles for QBSE on the main support page. Just scroll down a bit and click More Topics to see more articles.

If you have more concerns with your data, please let us know by replying to this thread. I wish you more profits with QBSE in your business.

@nanadz

QBSE is a stand alone product. You can only import bank statement into your QBSE account. Consider to use QB Online instead.
