Bank and Quickbooks online Fraud

We had a situation where a fraudulent transaction was processed by QB to allow the fraudster to withdraw money from our account.

So this is how it happened - a fake prospect came to us over the internet and said they wanted to purchase something - in this case it was a package of expensive drones.  They made several requests and finally we provided a quote for about 40k in equipment and services.

The prospect said they wanted to wire us the money to pay for the transaction so we provided them with our bank info in order to allow them to wire us the money.

Instead of wiring us money this fraudster used our bank info - routing and account number to purchase other goods from two other vendors.  two transactions went through - one for 15,999 to Shipped.com and one for about 5,082.50 - Blaq Kart Market Sale  The bank paid them both.  the fraudster used the email address of [email address removed]  and he used the name

Kevin [last name removed]
5074 Old Dixie Hwy
Apt F6
Forest Park, GA 30297 - United States
[phone number removed]

Has anyone else experienced this ?  How did you fight it and did you have any luck getting your money back ?  both our bank and quickbooks so far have to us that its too bad, we should accept that we lost the money.

We feel like QB and the Bank should support us and return and refund both transactions.
What do you all suggest ?  We filed an FBI and local police report.

Thank you for your suggestion and yes we have opened trouble tickets with support.  They are telling us we are going to loose the money. I dont understand why a quickbooks vendor who illegally received funds sent through this fraud gets to keep them, but this is what QB is telling us.

We have opened a ticket with support.  They are telling us we are going to loose that money.  I dont understand why or how QB can send money to another vendor that has not been authorized by us, but that seems to be a big hole in the system.  If a bad guy has your routing and checking account info - they can simply pump that info into a QB invoice as payment and it goes through - assuming as we did the money is in the account.  We never knew anything about it until the account was overdrawn a few days later.

QB says we have no recourse on getting our money back.  I want to warn other people of this potential vulnerability.
