Bank Feeds Send/Recieve Warning

Hi-

I'm having trouble fixing an issue I'm having with my Bank Feeds. The issue began with an error connecting to my bank (may have been a mis-typed password), but now I'm stuck in a never-ending loop of Quickbooks asking me if I would like to Send/Receive my last online connection because it was not completed. Nothing I do seems to complete the last action, and if I try and disconnect the bank account from my Quickbooks account, it says I cannot do that without resolving the last online connection.

Hoping someone offer some help. (screenshot of the Warning is attached)

Thanks.

JD

By chance is it with an AMEX account?

Bank Feeds Send/Recieve Warning

Hello there, @JDMcM and @litbeth327. I appreciate both of you performing some steps to resolve your banking concern.

To fix this issue, you can consider editing your bank feed settings. Let me show you how:

  1. Deactivate Bank Feeds for an account.
  2. Do the necessary changes.
  3. Set up the account for Bank Feeds.

However, since you've mentioned that you're unable to disconnect your bank account @JDMcM and still getting the same issue after trying the rebuild and verify tool @litbeth327, this time, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to pull up your account to investigate the root of the problem and why the issue keeps appearing.

To reach them, here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Help menu at the top.
  3. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help
  4. Type Contact Us in the search box. Then, click on Contact Us at the bottom.
  5. Select the way you wish to connect with support.

You can also check out this link for more information on how to contact them: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support. Ensure to review their support hours, so you'll know when agents are available.

I have done this twice, and each time I am told by customer service that they cannot help, and I need to pay $120 some odd dollars for "next level support," or to upgrade to QB Desktop 2022.

This is absolutely criminal that you would make customers PAY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SOFTWARE.

There are NUMEROUS people with the same problem on this forum, and QB Support is telling us ALL we need a Support Plan to continue using your software.

I have no words to describe how awful this experience has been for me.

Is it just AMEX? This is apparently an issue others are having.

Deactivate doesn't work with this issue. It just pops back up for AMEX.

Yes, it is just AMEX.

I am having the same issue with the Amex bank feed. I tried the fix suggestion of deactivating online services, but the popup window says the same thing: "Your last online connection was not completed. You can not add/modify/or delete any online information or transactions until you complete that connection." The loop is never ending.

Right before this i couldn't even keep QB running. It crashed repeatedly until I used the tool hub recommended after multiple other people were going through the same thing. So I haven't crashed in about an hour, and now this. What is going ON?

I just got out of the loop:

If the message requests a PIN:

  1. Release the Ctrl key, enter the PIN, and then press the Ctrl key again while clicking OK.
  2. The message "Your last online connection was not completed. QuickBooks Desktop is having a problem recovering from this condition" appears.
  3. Continue pressing the Ctrl key and select OK.
  4. Another message appears: "Do you wish to resend this request again to your financial institution, do it only after speaking to the Online Banking Technical Support." Continue pressing the Ctrl key while you click OK. The message will close.
