Bank Reconciliation

I'm using QBO and in trying to reconcile the bank account, no transactions show to be reconciled. However, all the transactions are there.

Bank Reconciliation

Good day to you, FarrisFair!

Let's work together in finding out why you don't see transactions to be reconciled.

Transactions will not show up on the Reconciliation page if:

  • they are already reconciled, meaning they have an R mark with them
  • they are on a different bank register
  • their dates are beyond your statement's ending date

Please check your bank register to see if they the Reconciled (R) mark. If they have, you can leave them as they are. Then, check if there is an existing reconciliation report in that period. Go to Reports, search for Reconciliation Report and see the report dates. If there's no report for that period, it means they were manually marked as reconciled one by one. This is okay because this is another option of reconciling transactions.

As for the dates, the Reconciliation screen only filters the transactions on or before the Ending date you entered. You can remove or extend the date to see more transactions beyond it.

You can always count on us about reconciliation. Please feel free to share an update about it.
