The option to delete a reconciliation in QuickBooks Online (QBO) isn't possible, @a1custompolishin. However, you can manually undo each transaction from reconciliation.
You can only undo the reconciled transaction one at a time to minimize the impact it can cause to unbalance your account.
Here’s how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
- Select the account that has the reconciled transaction. Then, View register.
- Locate the transaction to edit.
- In the reconcile status column (indicated by a checkmark), repeatedly click the box until it changes from R to blank.
- Then select Save.
If you need to start over the whole reconciliation process, I recommend reaching out to your accountant. With this, they are the only ones who can undo the entire reconciliation with the necessary tools.
Also, if you need help reconciling your bank statements, I recommend partnering with our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted to have guidance in this workflow in QBO.
