Can i reverse a deposit i didnt mean to delete?

There is no undelete or reverse. There is no user backup to restore from. If it were based on Excel there might be a back button so to speak but you must recreate the deposit as you did to begin with.

If the original deposit was created from Undeposited Funds rest assured that deleting the deposit did not delete the payments sitting in Undeposited Funds, waiting for you to make the deposit all over again

Thanks for joining this thread, gdaly629.

Great job Pemberton-Cobb for giving an article on how to record bank deposits in QuickBooks Online.

Allow me to step in and add up information on how to make deposits all over again gdaly629

If your situation is the same with what john-pero has explained above, then go back to the Bank Deposit page. Then, perform the process from there by using the link provided by Pemberton-Cobb.

Otherwise, you can use the audit log to retrieve the deposit information. It shows transactions you've recently deleted.

To access this feature, make sure you have full access rights. Then, follow the required steps below:

  1. Click the Gear ⚙ icon at the right top.
  2. Select Audit Log under Tools.
  3. Locate the transfer, then click View under the History column.
  4. From there, you'll be able to see the details of your entry.

To learn more about this feature, check this out: Audit Log. It includes a quick video tutorial for additional guidance.

Please don't hesitate to post here in the Intuit Community if you have other questions. We'd be glad to help you out.
