Is there any way to import transactions?

I admire your desire to import your transactions to QuickBooks, @zipswich. Let me share an overview of this activity.
Yes. Uploading transactions for unsupported QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) products are disabled. To bring your entries to QBDT 2000, you may track them manually per transaction type.
Alternatively, you may utilize journal entries to record them in batches. With this, I suggest seeking assistance from an accounting expert for proper recording. To start:

You can still import transactions via IIF files.
If you can download OFX files from your bank (or QFX or QBO files, which are variants of OFX files), use our OFX/QFX/QBO to IIF Converter to convert them to IIF files for import into QuickBooks.
@Angelyn_T Thanks a lot for the clarification.
@BigRedConsulting Thank you for the tip.
Where can I find the function to import IIF files? It seems Banking > Bank Feeds > Import Web Connect File accepts only QBO files.
It's at File | Utilities | Import | IIF files..
