Can't add my bank to the banking feeds

When i try to set up my bank to receive bank feeds, it takes me to QBs browser to access my bank. However, my bank recently updated their website and i think the QB browser is not updated to accept my banks webpage. I added a screenshot and this is as far as it gets.

Can't add my bank to the banking feeds

Thanks for coming to the Community for your banking concern, @coachalex. Currently, QuickBooks Desktop works with Internet Explorer (IE) as its browser for Direct Connect in online banking.

It looks like your financial institution isn't supporting IE 11 or older. I'd recommend contacting them on the number they provided on your screenshot to confirm.

You also want to confirm if your bank offers Web Connect so you can use the Web Connect (.QBO) files instead. These are online banking transactions from your bank's website downloaded to your computer. Then, import the transactions to make it available in your Bank Feeds.

Here's how:

  1. From Banking, select Bank Feeds, then Import Web Connect Files.
  2. Select the QBO file you saved, then click Open.
  3. When prompted to select your bank account:
    • Use a QuickBooks account that exists if the account you're importing transactions into is already set up in QuickBooks.
    • Create a new QuickBooks account if the account you're importing transactions into isn't in QuickBooks yet. Learn how to create an account.

Click Continue. You'll see a dialog box telling you that the data has been successfully read into QuickBooks. Select OK., then go to the Bank Feeds Center to review your transactions.

I'm pleased to share with you this link to give you more insights about adding your bank accounts for Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop.

Feel free to post again if you have additional concerns. I'm always around to help you more.

Can't add my bank to the banking feeds

Hi,

I am unable to connect my credit card to the bank. Automatic syncing was good for a month, and now it's not working. The bank asked me to go for other options like Manual upload, which worked for a month and now that's not even working. Please see the pdf for your reference. The QuickBooks support is not really helpful.

Can't add my bank to the banking feeds

Thank you for sharing a PDF file of your banking page, @nrangra2023. I want to ensure your concern is addressed firsthand in the Community. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate these errors.

I understand that it would be easy for your to manage your banking entries by connecting your account to our system. This way, QuickBooks will download your bank data automatically. I can see that you receive error 103 when trying to link your account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Usually, it occurs when:

  • You have entered the wrong credentials while trying to connect to your financial institution for the first time.
  • You have selected the wrong financial institution (there are often many to select from).
  • If you are currently connected and you’ve updated your credentials with your financial institution, you need to update the information in QuickBooks Online.

To fix this, you can log in to your bank outside of QuickBooks by going to your bank’s website and ensuring your credentials are entered correctly. From there, try to connect your account again through QuickBooks with the exact information.

If the same thing happens, you can proceed with the succeeding solutions from this link: Fix bank error 103 in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

On the other hand, I suggest preparing your file with the precise format before uploading them to our system to avoid unexpected results. Aside from .QBO file, you can try saving your file as CSV with the following formats:

Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them accordingly.
