The 'official' help is useless.
The only solution to make this work that we've found consistently fixes the issue it to disconnect the account from Amex and then reconnect it again.
See comments above.
It works.
I've had to do this a couple of times now over the past couple of years.
Try the disconnect and reconnect the account.
It seems that when Quickbooks pushes a new update the feeds get mucked up.
Usually AMEX, but I've had it happen for other institutions as well.
Good luck.
Yes, I did this in the past, but is there a new way to connect the account. I've disconnected and now the Amex account isn't showing up at the top when I click on "Banking" Nor do I see a way to connect accounts to Amex
Discovered the answer. I went to * then "Import Data" then "Bank Data" then "
Securely connect your bank"
Did the new connection solve your issue?
Almost another full year later and this problem has not been resolved. How is this possible??

Thank you ChristieAnn, I have actually spoken with Loretta B on the support team today. Her suggestion was to go American Express and download the missing transactions and then to upload them to Quickbooks. Well that great if this was a temporary fix, but for the last five years I have been told the same thing from various members of your team. The bottom line is that this issues is STILL NOT RESOLVED! How many years later?? This is unacceptable all of us folks pay good money every month for quickbooks only to have the same problems over and over. Please do contact me with a solution.
