We have an ongoing investigation regarding the empty Excel file when downloading the Tax detail report in QuickBooks Self-Employed. I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They can add your profile to the list of affected users. With this, they can send you email updates regarding the issue.
We'd appreciate your patience as we get this working.
Because this is a time sensitive issue and is delaying my ability to file my taxes on time, why can’t I leave a message or email them outside business hours so they can contact me back when they are available?

We understand how important for you to file your taxes on time. However, contacting them within the Support Hours would be our only way to report the issue.
You can select the Get a callback option so this request will remain open until the representatives are available during those hours. They'll give a callback as you requested and assist you further with this.

Thanks, but this doesn't appear to work. When I select either one of those options, the QB assistant simply responds with:

There is no prompt to enter any details in order to complete my request. So the quickest way to access my 2019 tax details would be to call at 6am? I'm not sure how to explain this to my accountant. Is there an email option available?
Alternatively, would it be possible for you to email me my 2019 tax details?

At the moment, only our phone or chat support has the ability to pull up your account and provide the tax details. You'll want to request a callback at your most convenient time.
