capturing receipts via email

The capture of receipts via email doesnot work at all because you are unable to mark as paid the invoices paid by the customer.

Hi jmv1969,

The Receipt Capture is only applicable to vendor receipts or bills. This gives users an alternate way to record these transactions in QuickBooks instead of manually entering them. See more details in this article: Upload your receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online.

If you have other questions, feel free to go back to this thread. Take care!

Good day, jmv1969.

As referenced by my peer above, vendor receipts are also known as vendor bills in QuickBooks Online.

You can refer to the following resources below to manage your receipts or bills in QuickBooks:

Enter bills and record bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

Upload your receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you can visit the following write-up: Expenses and vendors. This will provide you with articles on how to organize your company expenses.

If you still need help with other QuickBooks-related concerns, feel free to get back to this thread. I want to ensure everything is taken care of.
