Changing the general account of a deposit transaction. The only options I am getting is the bank accounts or credit cards for the line item.

In QBO, you can categorize your bank deposits in the Account dropdown in the Bank deposit window. 

You can also categorize your bank deposits on the Banking page under the Category section.

Moreover, you can only choose a bank, checking, and credit card accounts under the Account section on the Bank deposit page.

Also, may I ask what specific account you'd like to choose for your bank deposit? Any additional details can help us narrow things down.

If you're good with your transactions, you can now proceed to reconcile an account in QBO. If everything matches, you know your accounts are balanced and accurate. We recommend reconciling your checking, savings, and credit card accounts every month.
