You'll want to add the other credit card (CC) account as a sub-account. This way, you'll have 2 different CC numbers under the same bank. I'd be glad to walk you through the steps. Here's how:
First, let's create a credit card parent account:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
- Go to the Accounting menu.
- Select the Chart of Accounts tab.
- Click New.
- Fill in the necessary fields, then click Save and close.
Next, let's set up the other credit card account as sub-accounts:
- On the Chart of Accounts page, look for the credit card account.
- Click the View register drop-down arrow, then select Edit.
- Tick the Is sub-account box, then select the parent account.

- Click Save and Close.
