Hello there, Robynne.
I'm here to get you to the bottom of this issue about editing transition right away.
QBO stores local cache files which often become outdated or corrupted and need occasional cleaning to ensure optimal performance. This issue with editing transactions could be a result of this. That said, let's perform some basic troubleshooting to resolve the issue
The first step is to use an incognito or a private browser when editing the transaction in the bank list. Since this doesn't store any cache, it's a good place to isolate this case.
When you're able to do successfully edit the transaction, you'll want to go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. Close any instances of your browser to complete the process. Another thing you can do is to use other supported browsers.
You'll want to read through this link for more information about managing your bank in QBO: Connect and Review Your Banking in QuickBooks Online.
Get back to me if you have any other questions about modifying your bank transactions. I'm a post away to help. Have a great day!
