Starting late last week, we were unable to download bank transactions from FirstBank. When you attempt to download (either directly through QB Bank Feeds or externally from the bank website), the file is not being read in QBDT. Even though it appears that you connect with the bank, no transactions are downloaded - there are no error messages.
I have since contacted the bank and learned that it is a known tech issue on FirstBank's end; they are working on a solution and it should be fixed in a few days.

Since September, we've now experienced similar issues with Wells, Chase and now FirstBank. I'm wondering whether the banks could employ a better process to test changes and notify QB Users as these issues arise. For those of us on the QB end, we are incurring time charges that are not billable to our clients, in order to troubleshoot these issues. It would be extremely helpful if we had a heads up -

Sending a notification or giving a heads up to users if there's an ongoing issue on their bank's end is a wonderful idea. I'll be sure to pass along your request directly to our Product Developers.
I also invite you to send feedback as well. They're constantly looking for great ideas from users, like yourself, when deciding how to enhance QuickBooks.
Here's how:
1. At the top menu bar, go to Help and pick Send Feedback Online.
2. Enter your request/product suggestion, then click Next.
3. Choose Skip and send a message, then select Feedback as the Category.
