You can use the QuickBooks Conversion Tool to convert data from Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

This conversion tool requires that Peachtree is installed on the computer. Peachtree/Sage does not offer a free trial. Is there a workaround to this?

When transferring your Peachtree data to QBO, it requires that both programs are installed on the same computer. This is to ensure a seamless conversion of files.

Based on the scenario shared, you can consider using a third-party application to help move the data to the online system. There are plenty of apps that sync or integrate with your QuickBooks account. To help find one, visit the QuickBooks Apps Center. Then, enter a keyword in the search field or use the Categories option to expedite the process.

You may try opening your file on the trial license of QB Desktop 2020 prior to migrating to QB Online.
