How can I transfer funds from quickbooks to my external bank account??

Hello there, @mistnmop-gmail-c.

I'll help share information about your cash account and how to transfer funds from your QuickBooks Checking account.

When you sign up for QuickBooks payments, you're able to utilize the Cash Flow feature to track payments from your customers. This is your checking account and you can transfer funds between accounts by utilizing the Envelopes function.

To do so, let's create an envelop first so you can take out your funds from the QuickBooks Checking account. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Cash Flow.
  2. Under Envelopes, select Add envelope.
  3. Enter a name for your new envelope.
  4. Type in the amount you want to save.
  5. Select a target date
  6. Click Finish.

From here, use Transfer In to take out the money from your checking account and Transfer Out to move the money to your bank account from the envelope. You can read this article to learn more: Create Envelopes to Set your Funds Aside.

Once the transfer has been made, it'll take up to 3 business days to move the actual money. Most of the time, it'll also depend on how your financial institution process the transfer. Learn more about transferring funds with this article: Learn More about QuickBooks Cash Accounts and the Cash Flow Menu.

Lastly, you can also browse for the content in this helpful article to learn more about how to check when QuickBooks deposits the payments from your customers: Find out When QuickBooks Payments Deposits Customer Payments.

If you have any other questions aside from moving your funds in and out from the QuickBooks checking account, please let me know by leaving a comment below. I'll be here to help. Stay safe!
