Hello there, 400,

We're unable to change the federal income tax on the form. You can only modify the tax withholding amount on your employee's paycheck.

Here's how:

  1. Click Workers on the left pane.
  2. Select the Employees tab.
  3. Click the employee's name and select Paycheck List.
  4. Click the Net Pay link and click the Edit link located at the bottom.
  5. Click the Employee Taxes drop-down arrow to expand, and then edit the Federal Income Tax amount.
  6. Click OK.

QuickBooks Online calculates federal income tax withholding in accordance with IRS Publication 15 (Circular E), Employer's Tax Guide.
