We're unable to change the federal income tax on the form. You can only modify the tax withholding amount on your employee's paycheck.
Here's how:
- Click Workers on the left pane.
- Select the Employees tab.
- Click the employee's name and select Paycheck List.
- Click the Net Pay link and click the Edit link located at the bottom.
- Click the Employee Taxes drop-down arrow to expand, and then edit the Federal Income Tax amount.
- Click OK.
QuickBooks Online calculates federal income tax withholding in accordance with IRS Publication 15 (Circular E), Employer's Tax Guide.
