@bobbeboo

You can filter the Register by check date and number.

Just click the Filter (funnel icon), and under Transaction Type select Check and change the period if needed and click Apply. See attached screenshot below of reference. You can also export to Excel and print this report.

I hope this helps!

How do I get my bank register in order by date and check number?

Let me help you sort this out, bobbeboo.

You can sort the Date to show the current or older transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Click Accounting in the left panel and choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Choose the account and click View Register.
  3. In your Bank Register, click the Dates to put the current dates on top.z.PNG

Or, you can use the Funnel icon to filter the dates. Below are the steps to complete the process:

  1. Click the Funnel icon.
  2. Choose Check.
  3. Go to Date and select All dares or Custom.
  4. Hit Apply.

This will show your transactions by Date together with check numbers. You can go through the following articles below. This will provide you steps on how to remove columns on your bank register as well as on what other transactions you can quickly add:

I'm only a post away if I can be of additional assistance. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week.
