How do I import IIF (Intuit Interchange Format) files from my vendor into my quickbooks online account?

I am trying to figure out how to import my invoice transactions from my vendor into my quickbooks account. It will download from my vendor in a IIF format, ready for quickbooks. But how do you import it into the quickbooks omline account? This should be simple, and not so complex to figure out.

I'm here to share some information about importing transactions from your vendor into QuickBooks Online (QBO), Roo_y.

At this time, being able to import IIF files isn't an option in QBO. You need to manually enter invoice transactions.

You can browse this link for instructions and detailed steps: Enter bills and record bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, the data you can move are listed below:

Adding this option would be a great addition to our features. I'd encourage you to send feedback so that our Product Developers can consider this improvement in the future update.

Let me show you how:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit feedback.

Let me know if you have other questions or if there are other transactions you need to record in QuickBooks. I'm always glad to walk you through the process.
