How do you change bank account

Thanks for becoming part of the Community, veth.

To verify my understanding, what kind of bank account are you trying to change? This info will help me get you the proper steps for changing it.

If you're using direct debit to pay for your subscription, you can edit its details to change the account.

Here's how:

  1. Use your Gear (⚙️) icon, then go to Account and settings.
  2. In the Payment method section, click Edit (✏️).
  3. Choose Bank Transfer, then enter your account's information.
  4. Select Save.

In the event you're working with our Online Bill Pay app, you can update a bank account that's linked with it. Since this involves the use of journal entries, I'd recommend working with an accounting professional. If you're in need of one, there's an awesome tool on our website called Find an Accountant. All ProAdvisors listed there are QuickBooks-certified and able to provide helpful insights for driving your business's success.

You'll additionally be able to find many detailed resources about using QuickBooks in our help article archives.

I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you. Have a lovely day!

How do you change bank account

Hi , topglock.

An empty screen isn't part of the bug. There are times that an issue like this is caused by a browser that's full of cache or recent activity. May I know what error messages you encountered? and also make sure that you have an access to edit it.

To start, let's use a private window when changing a bank account. This a special mode where the browser doesn't record the browsing activity on the local device, so no trace will be left on the computer.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

If it works, then let's clear the cache in your web browser or try using a different supported browser. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.
