Join nowI just created my quickbooks account and am trying to sort my expenses and income. When connecting my bank account to qb, I clicked the custom date range option and selected 11/01/2020 as the beginning from when to pull transactions from, however in the quickbooks banking tab, It will only show transactions starting from 2/26/2021 to present. There are some major expenses I want to including in my books from before 2/26/2021, so this is frustrating to me. I tried to delete my bank account and re-connect it, but this did not solve the isssue.
Welcome to the QuickBooks family, @rachelgrimes38.
I'm here to lend a hand with your bank transactions concern.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), once you connect your bank account, it brings the last 90 days of your transactions by default or more depends on your bank. To get older transactions to show on your QBO account, you can download the file from your bank website and manually import the other transactions into the program. To do this, here's how:
After that. review the format and size of your downloaded file. You can use this link as your guide: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
Once verified, you're now ready to upload the transactions into QuickBooks manually. And when the transactions are downloaded, start categorizing and matching them.
If you need additional help with your banking transactions, let me know by adding a comment below. I'll be right here to provide additional assistance. Have a great day.
I was getting an error message when uploading the csv file, but I was able to connect qbo to my bank account again and the past transactions showed up that time. Thanks for your help.
