LIMITED TIME 90% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months*
Buy nowHello there, @kmzagency. I'm here to ensure you'll be able to find those missing bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
When you connect your bank for the first time in QBO, the program downloads previous transactions up to a specific date. The majority of financial institutions download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.
Since you've already tried to update the connection of your bank and still can't see the transactions from January to May. You can follow steps 1 to 4 of this article that contains detailed instructions to find them: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.
On the other hand, you might also want to manually upload those transactions via CSV files. To get started, refer to this link for the steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Once everything is fine, your next step is to categorize and match them to keep your books accurate.
I'd love to know how the steps go. I'm always around here in the Community if you have follow-up questions about managing your bank feeds. I'd appreciate any updates about this. Please feel free to add a comment below. Have a good one and take care.
Another option, utilize MT Online as a workaround to import past transactions. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
