I have a Quickbooks Cash account we signed up for recently. Have already gotten the card and activated, but we can't access Cashflow on desktop, only on mobile. Help?

Everything on mobile works fine. We can add funds to the account and use envelopes. But on desktop, we just get the message: "Cash Flow Center is coming soon! An easy way to manage cash flow—all in one place—is on its way. Forecast your money-in and money-out, manage your business finances, get actionable insights, and more. You're on the list There's nothing else you need to do. We'll let you know the moment it's ready."

You can try out these steps, jesse27

  1. Click the Gear icon and select QuickBooks Labs.
  2. Click Cash Flow Dashboard Widget, then turn it ON.
  3. Click Done.

Once you refresh the page, the widget will appear as a card on your Dashboard along with all the other modules.

Note that this feature is still on beta phase, and might not be available yet on all users.

Hi Mary,

The information you provided added a Cashflow widget to the main dashboard area, but it unfortunately did not activate the Cashflow tab itself or take away the "Cash Flow Center is coming soon!" message and replace it with access to our account.

The problem we have is the we can't access the account to manage it on desktop. On mobile, we can add funds, move bewteen envelopes, etc. But on desktop it's just the "coming soon" message.

Also, I swear I could access the area when I first went to activate the debit card that comes with the account. But the next day, it was gone. I had figured this was a glitch with our account in particular maybe?

Thanks so much,

- Jess

Thanks for getting back to us, @jesse27.

When you say Desktop, you're referring to the web version of QuickBooks Online (QBO), correct? If so, the Cash Flow feature is still unavailable in that version. We still rolling it out, and later on, it’ll be available for all devices (IOS, Andriod, and Web).

For now, you can use the feature on your mobile as a workaround. Also, I recommend visiting our Blog site. This is where we share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features.
