Good day, remellon.
I'm here to provide some information about merging two company files in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The option to merge two company files in QBO is currently unavailable. However, you can either enter transactions manually or import the data into the company file moving forward. You are able to combine vendors, customers, products and services, employees, and accounts from your old account to another within the program.
To export lists from your old QBO account, you can follow these steps:
- Click on the Gear icon.
- Choose Export Data.
- Go to the Lists tab.
- Click on the radio button to export lists for Customer, Employees, and Vendors.
- Then, click on Export to Excel.
To export accounts:
- Go to Reports.
- Type in Account List in the search field.
- Click on the Export icon.
- Choose Export to Excel.
To export Product and Services:
- Click on the Gear icon.
- Select Products and Services.
- Click on the Export to Excel button.
