It's great to see you back in the Community. I appreciate you coming here with your question about integrating QuickBooks Time and QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

I see there are a few trials set up for your company. To clarify, are you getting an error? If so, please add a screenshot of it so that I can determine the best solution for your business.

I'm would like to trial QB time for use with my QB Online account but have been unable to get them integrated. I'd like to import my employees into the Time program.

I'm having this same issue currently... The Basic Time feature wont work on my Quickbooks online account. On the Dashboard, I click on the Time circle, a window pops saying I need to click Approvals. So, I click on that button, and it says Approvals Add On not installed... Well, on the Time app, I did the steps using Manage Add-On's, and the Approvals Add On IS in fact Installed... so I reinstalled several times and also tried to Integrate the Time app to Quickbooks too. When I go to connect to my Quickbooks account, it doesn't even bring up a login option, it just says Unable to find my company.

 

I'm super confused, because any way I am attempting this, it is just not working. The Basic Time option on Quickbooks online OR paying for the Time app and integrating it. (*I've also now paid for Time tracking TWICE, because I cancelled the first time after this hasn't been working, and now tried to troubleshoot it again which required to sign up for it AGAIN... )

This isn't the kind of service we want you to experience. I'm here to help you connect QuickBooks Online to QB Time.

 

There are times we experience unexpected behavior and issues in QuickBooks. Data problems might be the reason why connecting two accounts is not working. I'd recommend using an incognito browser when syncing the information of TSheets and QuickBooks. This is done to avoid saving the data accumulated in your browser. If you're not getting the same issue, you can go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. If not, you can use another supported browser.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to access a private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge & Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Hold down  + Option + P


If you still haven't established a connection, I recommend contacting our TSheets  Support. This way, we'll be able to check your previous cases and conduct an investigation about this sync issue. Our supports can also review your billing history and the charge on the duplicate accounts.
