Paid twice means the same transaction has been recorded twice - maybe once from the banking tab and also added manually.

You will need to MATCH deposit from the banking tab, not Add. If you've already added, go to the "Reviewed" section of the Banking tab and locate the deposit and undo it. And then, Match. In case you're not seeing the green Match button, select "Find Match" and match it from the list.

After you reconcile, you can make changes, but be careful because changes can unbalance your accounts since you'd change the ending balance. It also affects your beginning balance for your next reconciliation. You can start by reviewing a previous reconciliation report. If you reconciled an individual transaction on accident or it's an error, unreconcile it. Once you've unreconciled the deposit, then you can delete the duplicate. If you adjusted a reconciliation, or need to start over, reach out to your accountant. These kinds of changes get complicated and quickly unbalance your accounts.
