I think I accidentally purchased online instead of desktop. I didn't realize that Self-Employed did not have a desktop option. How can I fix this?

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @nailegancebybivi.

If you've purchased the QuickBooks Online version, I suggest you cancel the account first through your settings.

Here's how:

  1. Go to: https://qbo.intuit.com.
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings
  4. Go to Billing & Subscription.
  5. In the QuickBooks section, choose Cancel subscription or Cancel Trial
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions.

For QuickBooks Self-Employed, please note that you can access it through a web browser or mobile app. Also, you're correct about the version being unavailable on desktop.

If this is the version you want to get rid of, please follow these steps (browser):

  1. Open QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Billing Info.
  3. Select Cancel now, then enter your feedback when prompted.
  4. Select Cancel subscription. If you changed your mind, you can select Keep your subscription.

For future reference, I suggest visiting the Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription article. It provides detailed steps of the process for mobile app as well.

Additionally, I'm attaching the direct link below on how you can get the Desktop version of the program: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/desktop/.
