I want to downgrade from Plus to Simple, but QB does not allow it since I have multicurrency turned on. How can I override system not allowing me turn off multicurrency?

Thank you for reaching out to us. Let me share with you some insight about multi-currency, once you switched it on, you had to check a box that said you understand that you cannot turn it off once activated. This is because the currency conversion information will have to be accounted for in the system moving forward.  

That being said, I'd like to have to go to help you through chat or call with our Customer support. This way, we'll able to pull up your account in a secure environment and to check a way to downgrade your subscription.

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Go to Help (?).
3. Select Contact Us.
4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
5. Choose a way to connect with us. Message an agent or Get a callback.

You may have 2 options with a workaround:

1. Keep using QBO Plus

2. Downgrade to QBO SS

Utilize this 3rd party tool to migrate your data between QBO accounts.

Once you are ready to proceed, open a new QBO account with discounted price for up to 6 months.

If you are able to run this process once, you may repeat it for every semester to minimize your cost.
