Is there a way that you can import your transactions on a credit card sub account with a different account number that is a part of amain account?

I understand how important it is to efficiently manage credit card transactions, and I appreciate your efforts in finding ways to make it work, @desiquintero62. I'm here to provide you with some insights on how to add your credit card transactions on a sub-account.

Here's how:

1. Go to Settings and select Import data, then choose Bank data.
2. Select Drag and Drop or Select files, then click the file you downloaded from your bank.
3. From the QuickBooks account dropdown, choose the sub-account where you want to upload the transactions.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks.
5. Select the transactions you want to import . Then, click Continue and Done.

Please note that certain restrictions apply when changing or managing accounts in the Chart of Accounts, including online banking. Therefore, if your main or parent credit card account is already connected to your bank, importing transactions under the sub-account isn't possible. In this case, you'll need to disconnect the main or parent account before importing your transactions under the sub-account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and proceed to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the account that needs to be changed to a sub-account.
  3. Click the pencil  icon, then select Edit account info.
  4. Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Click Save and Close.

Nevertheless, you can still share your feedback and suggestions with our product engineers. Your insights are invaluable in helping us improve our software as we work to enhance our product and give you and our other clients an even better user experience.
