The Transactions page will show the last 12 months of bank data by default in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Though, you have the option to filter the page.
You can go to Transactions and select Year to date from the Last 12 months drop-down arrow.
I'll take note of your suggestion and submit this to our product engineers. They can put customer's ideas to work in the future.
