It's been a month and I still can't get Intuit to send my qbo money to my regular bank account even though they take money from it all the time. what a stupid char limit

they have a 'verify' in progress on the bank account, remember the one that they take money from whenever I get an invoice paid online. and i can't do a new one even though they NEVER sent the verification amounts. They have held my cash hostage for over a month. it appears that I am going to have to call support and beg them to tell me how to get my own money. Never let them talk you into a QBO cash account.

Hello there, @billpennock

This isn't the impression I want to leave you with. It's my priority that you're able to deposit the Cash account amount into your regular account. Allow me to give you some additional insight.

Since it's been a month and you still get your money, I would suggest contacting our Merchant Care Team. Our representative can pull up your account in a secure session and investigate this issue. You connect with us through this link: Contact Payments.

Once everything is set, to transfer money from the QuickBooks Cash account, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the Cash Flow menu.Capture.PNG
  2. Choose Transfer money in the QuickBooks Cash section.Capture.PNG
  3. Pick Transfer out
  4. In the From field, select your QuickBooks Cash account.
  5. In the To field, select the (+). Then select your connected bank account.
  6. Enter the amount you want to move out of your QuickBooks Cash account.
  7. Hit Finalize transfer.

For more details, please check this article: Use your QuickBooks Cash account

Also, you can use the following articles to learn more about how the QuickBooks Cash account works, as well as the Cash Flow menu:

Please, don't hesitate to post here again if you need further clarification or have any other questions. I'm more than happy to answer it for you. Have a great day.

I have now been on chat "hold" for 30 minutes waiting for someone to allow me to beg for release of my money.  Also I have two customers who pay by credit card and when i got this account I thought it would be a good place for them to pay too, never figuring I would not be able to get the money out easily to my working bank account.  Now I have tried twice to get the payments redirected to my USBank account where they used to go, to no avail.  No only can't I get to my money I can't get intuit to keep adding to the locked up funds.

After being on hold for an hour on the first link you gave me i was told to go to another chat link.  That one put me on hold AGAIN for another 25 minutes.  At least there I did get enough information to finally get out of Quick Books Cash.  You're description in your "answer" was obvious but i didn't contact anyone because that worked.  It did not until getting into and messing with other settings.  I wish i had never heard of Quickbooks Cash.  It has been a nightmare

Sorry that you had these problems. I too have been unable to transfer money from my QBO Cash account for more than 7 months. It has been a double nightmare. To add to the woes, I have had 5 ACHS's held up by QBO. The money has been withdrawn from the clients's accounts and I don't have it. I am afraid the incompetencies of people answering QBO cash-related questions are unbelievable. I have never seen this low level of service in the 12 years I have been with QBO

I have same problem.

there is no 'send money' or 'transfer money' tab in my QBO. It is missing. I can't get my money out of QBO checking.

this is so unfair

Hello again, bermuda.

I can see my money when I log into my QBO, but then when I go to the Practice admin (I had to add myself as a Practice / firm to do something else a while back), I don't see it.

So I see it in the QBO in my banking but I do NOT see the money in QBO checking in the Practice admin...

I am exhausted by all this. I hate it and wish I had never signed up with QBO.

It has been nothing but a headache.

I am looking for another software program that is kinder, easier, more live help that really helps and more honest for small business.

Intuit controls complaints too....

I bet no one is reading or seeing this.

All so bogus.

The worst thing for a small business because it sucks all of your time and all you get are messages and emails telling you to read more.

NIGHTMARE.......

buyer beware
