Money was sent to the wrong account number.

Welcome to the Community, @worldccomics. I'd like to make sure I'm providing you with the right support to help you retrieve the funds that were sent to the wrong account number. 

 

If you've paid your employee through direct deposit, the funds will usually get rejected and get returned to the employer bank account within 2–3 banking days after the pay date. If the funds aren't returned within that specific period, I'd suggest you contact our Customer Care team to request a direct deposit trace.

If this is a customer's invoice payment, contact our QuickBooks Payments team for assistance.
