Hello @christi4,

Let me walk you through how you can change the routing number.

  1. Update your bank account information from the Chart of Accounts.
    1. Go to Lists, Chart of Accounts.
    2. Edit the account, and remove the services from the account. Then, set up the account again for online services and enter the new routing number.
    3. Click Save & Close.
  2. Update your bank info in Payroll.
    1. Go to Employees, My Payroll Service, then Accounts/Billing Information.
    2. Sign in using your Intuit Account login.
    3. Go to Payroll Info, under Direct Deposit Bank Account select Edit.
    4. Enter your payroll PIN then Continue. Type your routing number and then Update. Hit Close.
    5. Go to Employees, then Send Payroll Data.
    6. On the Send/Receive Data window, select Preferences.
    7. Update/edit the routing number. Snap OK and then Close.
  3. Verify your direct deposit bank account.
    1. Employees, My Payroll Service, then Account/Billing Information.
    2. Sign in using your Intuit Account login.
    3. Go to Payroll Info section, under Direct Deposit Bank Account choose Verify.
    4. Type your PIN, then Submit.

Please read this article for details about: Change your direct deposit bank account for QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. Feel free to also check our "FAQs on foreign bank accounts" in this link: Set up, edit, and remove direct deposit for employees in QuickBooks Desktop.

Should you have other questions or concerns, please let me know. I'll be around to help. Thanks for posting and have a wonderful day.
