Same. QB desktop 2023. I tried deactivating and reconnecting, but it didn't help.

Same here. Transactions up till 11/14 worked fine. Have not been able to get any transactions from 11/15 or 11/16 to import. Continues to say caught up even though I know for a fact I have 25+ transactions that haven't been imported.

Hello billing96, hc10, MattSRQ, Sunanda, and Jenngine.

 

I'll help check why transactions from your Bank of America account won't download. Some may take a little longer. In your case, downloads may seem stuck. You can do a manual update. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping , select Transactions, then Bank transactions.
  2. Click Update.
     

This updates all your connected bank and credit card accounts. The number of transactions in each account tile will increase if QuickBooks downloads new transactions.

 

If transactions are still not showing up, the issue may be on the bank’s end. I'm adding these article for the steps you can take to fix the connection. 

 

 

When everything looks good, go back to QuickBooks and do the manual update again. Then, you can review, categorize, and add transactions to your bank register.

 

If not, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Live Team. They can create a case under your company and send it to our Online Banking Team to investigate why transactions from Bank of America won't download.

 

For QuickBooks Desktop, make sure to download the latest update to keep the system up-to-date. If your system is already updated and still not downloading transactions, you can also contact our QuickBooks Desktop Team. That way, they can create a report about the banking issue with Bank of America.

 

In case you need to bring in transactions while QuickBooks won't download them yet, you can manually import them. I'm adding these articles for your product.

Found this in another thread. If you call Quickbooks and give them the INV numbers below they will add you guys to a list of companies that are experiencing the same issues. 

 

  1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard.
  2. Select Talk to a Human.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter. You may provide these investigation numbers:
    • INV-79688 Bank of America,
    • INV-75536 Chase Bank
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact Us to connect with our live support.
  6. Choose Get a callback.

Same problem here! Everything was fine until I tried to download 11/15. Same issue today. I cannot download 11/15 OR 11/16. THIS HAS TO BE FIXED!!! Tried calling tech support yesterday and even after a half hour they were basically useless!

I am using Desktop Pro Plus 2022  and there is NO BOOKKEEPING LINK to click on so how the heck do I do an update????  I need to get this resolved TODAY and your support people have no clue!!!

@MaryLandT I think you and everyone on this post probably know that none of that is going to work.  This is a broken link between Bank of America and Intuit that needs to be escalated to the developer team for resolution.  This is an institutional issue and not a user issue.  We would all appreciate an honest answer and anticipated ETA on the fix.  Thank you.

I called Bank of America yesterday BEFORE I even tried calling Quickbooks and they verified that all my settings were correct -so SOMEONE HAD BETTER FIX THIS NOW!!!@

So now they are telling me that in order to "refresh" the connection I have to disable ALL my accounts and start from scratch! This is UNBELIEVABLE!! I want to know WHY this happened! This is inexcusable!

So I just disabled ALL my accounts at Bank of America and started from scratch and I STILL CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING!!!! WTH?

There is NO Talk to a Human in Desktop Pro Plus 2022! This is PATHETIC!

Great, so the first INV number you gave was for ONLINE and I am using Desktop - so now I get to start all over again...

I hear you and I want to ensure this matter is addressed timely so you're able to connect the Bank of America accounts to online banking in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

We have an ongoing issue where customers, like you, have been unable to connect to online banking where accounts are missing from the drop-down menu. Rest assured our engineering team is aware and they've been all hands on deck working to fix this as soon as possible.

I am experiencing the same issue with Desktop 2020. QB Stopped downloading transactions from Bank of America for last few days. No errors, connects fine and updates balance information but does not download transactions. This is frustrating. I called QB help desk, that connects me to a call center overseas, and the rep has no clue on the problem or how to fix it and starts to sell me on paying for support!

Same here, BOA transactions not downloading in QB Desktop.   Bad time of year for this stuff to start happening.

Same problem  QB Desktop Pro 2021.  Have tried restoring files, Deactivating All Online Services and Reactivating them.  Even tried installing a fresh copy of QB Pro 2021 on a brand new computer just in case something was corrupt on my workstation.  Nothing has worked.  Finally found this thread.  Happy you posted it.  I hope Bank of America or Intuit get this fixed fast.  End of year planning is underway and it can't be done with out updating all the bank transactions!

Same problem here!! Tried disconnecting account and reconnecting. Tried several times and just got in a loop that never fixed the problem. Now I can’t connect at all. Super frustrating!!!
