My transactions are not downloading for the last quarter of 2023

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools with a one time license (e.g csv2qbo @ $60) as a workaround.

My transactions are not downloading for the last quarter of 2023

You’ve made the right choice in reaching out, Anne. Let’s join forces to get your transactions for the last quarter of 2023 successfully imported into QBO.

When you connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO), the software will automatically download the transactions that have occurred within the last 90 days or 24 months of transactions depending on your bank.

If your bank can download the last quarter of 2023 transactions, I recommend manually updating your bank connection with QuickBooks Online. It can refresh the connection and help download the missing transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Click Transactions from the left menu.
  2. In the Bank Transactions section, select the bank account with missing transactions.
  3. From the top-right of the page, click the Update button.

Once done, check your missing transactions from the For Review tab. If they still aren't showing, check out this article for other troubleshooting steps: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If your bank only allows the last 90 days, I recommend uploading your old transactions manually to enter these in your QBO. You can download your bank statement in a supported file format (such as CSV or QBO) from your bank's website. Then, you can upload the file into QBO and map the columns to the appropriate fields in the software.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to Transactions and select Bank Transactions.
  2. Under the Link account drop-down menu, click Upload from the file.
  3. Choose the account where you want to upload the transactions, then click Next.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QuickBooks, then tap Next.
  5. Hit Let's Go when you're ready.

After uploading the transactions, categorize and match them to ensure all entries are accounted for correctly and without duplicates.

Furthermore, I recommend bookmarking these helpful resources about balancing your account and resolving reconciliation problems to safeguard that your books are accurate:
