My Wescom Credit union wont link up to QuickBooks. Is it possible to link or not?

Hi there, mikefey2003. Yes, it's possible to connect your Wescom Credit Union to QBO. I'm here to walk you through the process of doing so.

You can connect your Wescom account to QBO so that your transactions can be automatically downloaded into your bank feeds. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Click Link account. Enter the URL or search for your bank's name in the Search field.
  3. Enter your login credentials in the Login and Password fields. Click Continue.
  4. Choose the account you want to connect to and select the date from the dropdown. Then, click Next.
  5. Select the account type on the Account type dropdown. Then, select Next.
  6. Map the bank account in the Existing accounts dropdown, then select Next.
  7. Click Connect, then select Done.

I've also added a screenshot for your visual reference.

Please note that some banks allow you to download transactions for the last 90 days, while others provide access to transactions dating back 24 months.

Should you encounter any errors while linking your bank transactions, refer to this article to fix them: Bank errors and missing transactions in QBO.

In addition, refer to these articles to learn about how to categorize and match bank transactions in QBO:

Comment on this post if you still have concerns about linking your bank account. I'm always here to help you out.

Another option, use MT Online or one of the converter tools with a one time license (e.g csv2qbo @ $60) as a workaround.
