Allow me to share information about why the transaction disappears after changing it to unreconciled.
You might have sorted the list of events by reconciled status. So when you remove the "R," transactions disappear from the page.
Yes, unchecking it in the register doesn’t eliminate them totally. You can change your preference to update the filter. I’ll show you how:
To restart reconciling your checking account, you’ll want to unreconciled them one at a time. If you need to completely start over, you can reach out to your accountant to undo the entire reconciliation.
They have special tools that can make the process easier and can immediately correct any discrepancies you may encounter. Here’s the article on how to instantly connect them: Invite or remove an accountant.

Since you're still unable to view your unreconciled transactions, we can run an Account QuickReport specific to the bank account to find them. Let me help you from there.
